STEEL chips/media
We offer 2 types of steel media, made of: stainless steel (AISI 304) and stainless / acid-resistant steel (AISI420).
Application (general guidelines):
burnishing / lustre polishing of steel and non-ferrous metals – process following preliminary stages of grinding & smoothing in plastic or ceramic chips Wet process, using appropriate liquid compounds
Copper chips/media
Produced in rhomboid (diamond) shape.
Application (general guidelines):
Vibratory cleaning of moulds (mainly glass moulds) Wet process, using appropriate liquid compounds
WOODEN pegs/media
Wooden pegs are made of beech. Produced in 2 shapes (cubic & rhomboid) and various sizes.
Application (general guidelines):
DRY polishing processes, in pegs as well as pegs impregnated with polishing paste. For plastics, jewellery, non-ferrous alloys
GLASS media (balls)
Produced in ball shape in various diameters.
Application (general guidelines):
Finishing and polishing processes using polishing pastes – for plastics, amber and non-ferrous alloys.
